Default platform commission — deducted from what the recipient receives. The payer pays the stated amount only.
Platform commission
EteWallet charges a configurable platform fee (default 8%) on successful merchant checkouts and money-request pay links. Example: $100 paid → $92 credited → $8 platform fee. Higher-volume merchants may request a custom rate.
Card payments
Card acquiring and processing fees are charged by the payment processor under that processor’s pricing. Those costs are separate from EteWallet’s platform commission.
Personal wallet
Direct P2P transfers between personal wallets have no platform fee. Card top-ups credit the full amount to your balance. Withdrawals may include network or cash-out partner costs.
Virtual cards
Issuing or reloading an EteWallet virtual card debits your wallet for the amount loaded (no platform markup at launch). Cards are reloadable. Card number and CVV are shown only inside your dashboard and are never emailed.
